What is LelapaFund?

LelapaFund is a niche crowdinvestment platform dedicated to African companies. We provide individual investors around the world with access to previously untapped investment opportunities on the African continent. Investors can buy shares online in pre-vetted start-ups and small businesses whose products and services are sold on high growth consumer markets across Africa.

Our Goal

Our goal is to become the most trusted crowdinvestment intermediary for African investments providing consistent long-term financial and social returns to investors. We aim to provide the most cost-efficient investment vehicle for individual and corporate investors, as well as for growth ventures in Africa.

Our Vision

LelapaFund believes in the African investment opportunity. We believe that the best returns are made in the long term, and that everyone who shares this vision should have access to these opportunities. Inspired by Africans in the diaspora, LelapaFund believes in the potential of Africans abroad to drive investment-led growth back home.

Our Values

LelapaFund aims to be synonymous with Trust. Our values are rooted in transparency, accountability and community in all aspects of our activity. This means strong corporate governance as a pre-condition to investment and a regulatory regime that enforces minority shareholder rights.
